Today I am going to start a game with you. I am going to
take pictures and post them on my blog. I will also give you hints and facts
about the place I am. Then you are going to have to guess where I am and what I
am doing. It is called “Where in the
World is Emeline Schweitzer?” To find the answer you can research it online or
ask your parents for help. Once you have the answer you can send me a comment
and I will tell you if it is correct.
For my first “Where in the World…” post we visited a castle
in Munich on August 26. Here is a picture.
Fact: “Crazy” King Ludwig II of Bavaria was born
and grew up there.
On 27/8/2016 (This is how they write the dates here) I
hopped on a boat that took me across Lake Starnberg to Rose Island. On that
island I visited a castle that King Ludwig visited as a child. It was small but
nice. It might not look like royalty would stay there from the outside but if
you look inside of it you would get what I mean.
Another thing that I saw was the cross that was built where
King Ludwig’s body was found when he drowned in Lake Starnberg. I have a picture.
I also went to a church at first I thought that it was a castle. I said a prayer.
My sister and I had a great time.
Stay Tuned!!!
Great pictures. The information you shared is very interesting. I loved the way you wrote the date. I think most places outside the USA write the date that way. It was funny that you thought the church looked like a castle. The church Grampy and I got married in looked like a huge German castle. I'll show you pictures when you get back. Have a great time and continue to learn all you can. XO Grammy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures once again!!! Keep adventuring!!!!

I read Cecelia's post first so it would not be fair if I "guessed" where you are. I love your creative way of involving others in your experiences. Xo
ReplyDeleteAnother great post...hmmm i thought the answer to 'where in the world are the schweitzer sisters-was Munich...but maybe you want the specific location....hmmmm.
